It’s suitable for both open and closed wall construction and is extremely economical, achieving high U values. More traditional solid timber studs use much more timber than SpaceStud so it is also easier to transport and to work with on-site.

Here’s why; the SpaceStud system is made up of two timber flanges, spaced apart with clips and plated timber end blocks. These produce overall stud depths of up to 258mm. With less material used in construction, compared to traditional systems, it makes SpaceStud one of the most cost-effective solutions available.
